The Doctors
Dr. Stephen Yenne and Dr. Jay Schofield are trained specialists and limit their practice to Orthodontics. They have been in practice as a team since 1994 and are known in the community as warm and caring professionals who achieve outstanding results. While Dr. Yenne and Dr. Schofield share similar practice and treatment philosophies, each bring special interests and unique skills to the practice.
Dr. Schofield attended the University of Oregon and completed his dental degree at Oregon Health Sciences University. After practicing general dentistry in Salem for 11 years, he returned to the University of the Pacific in San Francisco for his degree in orthodontics. Dr. Schofield is a past president of the Marion-Polk-Yamhill Dental Society and member of numerous dental organizations.
Dr. Yenne attended Oregon State University and completed his dental degree at Oregon Health Sciences University. After receiving his orthodontic degree at University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Yenne returned to Salem and joined his father, Dr. Bernard Yenne, in practice. Dr. Yenne practiced solo for nine years before Dr. Schofield joined him in 1994. Dr Yenne is a past president of the Marion-Polk-Yamhill Dental Society and member of numerous dental organizations.

Our Orthodontic Assistants are trained to provide gentle and caring clinical treatment. Since many of them have experienced life with braces, they understand just how it feels! As primary providers of patient education and home care support, our assistants are always available to answers your treatment-related questions. Please ask!
Our Appointment Coordinator has many years of dental experience and will assist you with all of your scheduling needs. Your administrative needs are always handled efficiently and professionally.
Our Treatment Coordinator is an experienced orthodontic expert who works with new patients at their first visit. She will explain the treatment recommended by your doctor, answer any questions about procedures and appointments, coordinate appointments with your dentist, and explain financial arrangements and insurance benefits.
Our Financial Coordinator will help you with all of your financial needs including billing, insurance; flex spending accounts, and payment plans. Be assured that all administrative needs will be handled in a professional and confidential manner.
Our Sterilization Technician is a trained staff member who oversees our sterilization procedures that meet or exceed all OSHA, CDC and ADA standards. We use high-tech sterilization procedures. Your health and safety are always our primary concern.
